What makes you laugh?

Anything dark or un-PC. Think ‘Tropic Thunder’ meets ‘Porridge’.

When did you last cry?

The ‘cancer story’ section of Celebrity Bake Off. In my job it is an occupation hazard to meet people who have suffered or are suffering from cancer but in the past few years I have had a number of clients pass away and also two schoolmates and it is painful to see the human cost even if it is not you directly impacted.

What’s your earliest memory?

Being stung by a wasp on the way home from holiday!! Also from the same holiday the cottage we were staying in had a fruit machine for some reason and my mum explained it away as something that made chips. Also my Gran being asked how you could which was the bull in a field of cows and saying that it was the ‘one with the thickest neck’.

Describe what ‘love’ means to you.

‘Love’ is that almost physical pain when you’re not with that ‘someone’. ‘Love’ is the actual physical pain when you let that ‘someone’ go. ‘Love’ is that feeling of warm comfort when you’re with that ‘someone’.

What makes you unique to everyone else on this planet?

My daughters are the only people with the surname Sasaki-Fletcher.

Name 3 people (living or dead) you’d invite to your virtual quarantine dinner party.

Ulysses S Grant – proof that you should never give up (from an utter drunken failure to US President in less than 10 years).

Hunter S Thompson – Not Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (too self-indulgent) but Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail (best description of a US Presidential Campaign bar none). Just a shame he’s not around to describe Trump given his utter contempt for Nixon.

Matt Dolan – You can’t have a party without Matt and I’ll need someone to keep up with Hunter.

Describe yourself in 5 words (this can be a sentence or 5 separate words).

Cynical, Sarcastic, Sceptical, Diligent, Loyal (often to a Fault).

Who or what has made the greatest impact on your life?

Wouldn’t say any one thing or person stands out. Very much have a magpie mentality and will take a good idea from wherever I can find it. Generally speaking there aren’t many good ideas that haven’t already been thought of. It’s about finding and applying them to your own situation.

Any regrets?

There are a number of occasions where I have made a logical, well thought out decision that proved to be utterly disastrous (especially career related). So try and go with your gut wherever possible. Genuinely if you take the view that every downturn is a challenge and an opportunity regret becomes less of a deadweight.

Tell us something no one knows about you (and I mean no-one)? Until now.

Drawn a blank on that one, sorry. Very boring.
