What makes you laugh?

Daft stuff. Anything that is nonsense. Other people laughing. School boy humour.

When did you last cry?

My best man's funeral last year.

What’s your earliest memory?

Being born. Seriously I remember clearly being someone else's soul being reborn. Vivid memory (or illusion!)

Describe what ‘love’ means to you.

Unconditional. Not forced or false. Knowing that it is stronger than a moment or cross word and that true love should be cherished and not taken for granted. It should be shown, spoken of and felt. It’s out there for everyone - don’t settle for anything else.

What makes you unique to everyone else on this planet?

I don’t think I am. I think I’m intensely loyal, hard working, optimistic, generous, better in small groups than large, enjoy myself when I can, have a fabulous family and fuck up now and again. I think there’s more like me than not. Although I think happy people are rarer than sad looking people.

Name 3 people (living or dead) you’d invite to your virtual quarantine dinner party.

Micky Flannigan, Derek Sivers and Tara Palmer Tomkinson (assuming Micky and Derek brought dates).

Describe yourself in 5 words (this can be a sentence or 5 separate words).

Husband, Father, Business Owner, Fitness and Friend

Who or what has made the greatest impact on your life?

My dad having a triple heart by-pass when I was 16 when also sadly my brother had a nervous breakdown. I ran the family business, had a PT job and went to college. My dad worked all hours to put us through school and I vowed I’d do him proud. I lost my dad and my brother too early. I think that’s where my work ethic comes from. I can’t stand moany people either.

Any regrets?

Some. Not having a mentor would big the biggest.

Tell us something no one knows about you (and I mean no-one)? Until now.

Mmmm difficult very difficult. Someone knows some things and not everyone knows everything.
